The opening of Acts records Jesus ascending into heaven. It was the last time the disciples saw Jesus on earth. Jesus' birth, death and resurrection get a lot of attention but the ascension is usually overlooked. The most underappreciated act of Christ is part of our redemption and brings a set of associated blessings.
