The Bible has four Gospels that tell us about the life and ministry of Jesus Christ, but each one has its distinctives. The Gospel of John could be described as "Jesus for the World." John shows how Jesus supersedes the Law and Jewish festivals but also uses symbolism that anyone can understand. Jesus is repeatedly said to have come to save "the world." He is fully human and fully divine and is the only salvation for anyone who believes.
